LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Norfolk State third baseman Juan Serrano
(Naugatuck, Conn.) was named to the All-MEAC Baseball first team the
conference announced on Wednesday night.
Serrano, a sophomore, earned his second first-team honor in as many
years. He leads NSU in almost every offensive category, including batting
average (.360), hits (58), doubles (14), home runs (2) and runs batted in
(27). The 2004 MEAC Rookie of the Year ranks fifth in the conference in
batting.
