Hattiesburg, Miss - Brian Cavanaugh was one of six East Carolina Pirates
who earned All-Conference USA honors as announced on Tuesday in
Hattiesburg, Miss., site of the 2005 Conference USA Baseball Tournament
presented by POWERade. Cavanaugh, a senior outfielder was awarded
first-team all-conference. Cavanaugh leads ECU and Conference USA in
hitting at a clip of .375. The Monroe, Conn. native also leads ECU in hits
(69), total bases (103), stolen bases (13), on-base percentage (.445) and
slugging percentage (.560).
