6/7/07 - Manhattan College's Brian Pendergast, RHP, Unionville, CT a 2006 Farmington HS Grad has been named a 2007 Louisville Slugger Baseball  Freshman All American as announced by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper yesterday.

Pendergast recently completed his season with an 8-1 record,3.05 ERA and 5 saves. Brian established a school records for most wins in a season by a freshman pitcher. He was among the statistical leaders in several pitching categories in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference ( MAAC ) including most wins, lowest ERA, Saves, fewest earned runs & fewest hits allowed. The Jaspers finished their season @ 35-19, the most wins in school history.

Brian is playing this summer with the NY Generals of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball Wood Bat League in Newburgh, NY
