6/25/07 - TCB continued its winning tradition winning the 2007 New England AAU Super Regional in the 14u Division, thus securing their spot in the AAU National Championships in Sarasota, Florida.

 

TCB 14 Hartford won five games in a row on their way to the title. In the title game, TCB scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh for the come from behind win over the Scorpions. Adam Camilleri led off the 7th with a pinch hit single and Tyler Burley had the game winning single. Matt Gianoni had a two run double in the title game.

 

Kyle Schilling tossed four solid innings on the mound for TCB. Gregg Kirkpatrick came on with two men on and no outs and struck out the side to earn the win.

 

Robert DeCosmo led the offense going 10-21 on the weekend with 11 rbi's. Ben Edelson hit .667 and Hunter Crune hit .571. As a team, TCB hit .353 with 19 extra base hits.

 

The pitching staff was stellar as well, posting a 5-1 record for the weekend with a 1.85 ERA. They allowed only 23 hits in 34 innings with 39 strikeouts. Tyler Burley, Vin Mangiagli, Jason Sutkowski, and DeCosmo earned the other four wins.
