2006 WWBA Underclass World Championship |

TCB USA will again be attending the WWBA Underclass World Championship in 2006. This year we will be putting together two teams, Americans and Nationals, to attend the event.
The World Wood Bat Underclass World Championship will take place from October 6th to October 9th in Ft. Myers, Florida. It is open to all players with graduation years of 2008 or younger. Last year’s tournament was attended by forty teams from across the United States, including teams from Florida, Georgia, Texas, Indiana, Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, and Canada.
The tournament is
a 4 game guarantee. Detailed information, including final dates,
locations, and financial information will be provided as soon as it's
available. The approximate fee for this year's event is $400.00.
This fee includes uniform, tournament fee, insurance, baseballs, and
coaches' fees. It does not include each player's individual
travel, i.e. airfare, lodging, transportation, meals, this is the
responsibility of the player and his family.
This year's Underlass World Championship will be the fifth of it kind
where underclass
top prospects will play for keeps and championship rings. In 2002 the
East Cobb Astros
defeated the Florida Yard Dogs for the championship. In 2003, Chet
Lemon's Juice, FL
toppled the reigning champs in Boston's spring training stadium, City of
Palms Park, for
the title and championship rings. Last year, the East Cobb Astros were
victorious for the
second time in three years. Many of the top rated players in the country
participate at this
