Overview
Since 1994,
the TCB 13-15 year old program
has compiled a resume that includes 2 National
Championships, 6
Top Ten National Finishes, and 21 Connecticut State
Championships. TCB 13-15 year old players have won 2
National
Tournament MVP's, 15 National Tournament All-Americans,
and have
gone on to colleges and universities across the United
States.
What Is Being
Offered?
Premier
select travel baseball against competition throughout
the
New England region. Extended development program running
through January and February with emphasis on
fundamentals, skill
development, and conditioning.
Team Structure
13/u Hartford
Area, South Area, and Blaze Area Teams
will compete and
practice against various teams throughout New England
while preparing for their National Tournament. Players
can expect games
on weekends only in April and May, and begin the
full-time schedule
Memorial Day Weekend.
14/u

begin play after H.S. play-offs end and run into early
August. Plan on games or practice
approximately 5 to 6 times weekly.

Tryout and
Team Commitment
Tryouts are
held as part of the pre-season camp, which will begin in
January for the 15-year-old and February for the 13 &
14-year-olds.
Once teams are selected, the 15-year-old team will begin
play at the
conclusion of the High School season, while the 13 &
14-year-old
teams will begin in April with practice and game
competition weekly.
TCB has put together a game schedule that is impossible
to match.
The schedule combines games of top quality older
competition in
order to best develop the players skills.
Financial
Commitment
The cost of
each player is estimated between
$2,500 to $2,900. Actual costs will be final prior to
team selections.
Players that are selected have the opportunity to
participate in fund
raising activities.
Education
TCB Baseball requires excellence on and off the
baseball field. Players are monitored through the
collection of report
cards as they strive to achieve at least a ‘B’ average.
