Overview
Since 1998,
the TCB 16-18 year old program
has compiled a resume that includes 3 National
Championships, 9
Top Ten National Finishes, and 6 consecutive Super East
Baseball
League Championships. TCB 16-18 year old players have
won 3
National Tournament MVP's, 37 National Tournament
All-Americans,
and have gone on to colleges and universities across the
United
States.
What Is Being
Offered
Premier
select travel baseball against competition from all over
the
country. Extended development program running through
January
and February with emphasis on fundamentals and
conditioning.
College guidance program that prepares the student
athlete for the
college recruiting process as well as preparing a resume
for
prospective schools.
Team Structure
18/u TCB
Americans and Nationals
will
compete in the NJBL, ACEBL, and the SEBL, along with
various
tournaments, while preparing for the post season.
17/u TCB Americans and
Nationals
will
compete in the NJBL, ACEBL, and the SEBL, along with
various
tournaments, while preparing for the post season.
16/u
TCB Hartford Area and South Area
will
compete in the NJBL, SEBL and have an independent
schedule while
preparing for the post season.

Tryout and
Team Commitment
Tryouts are
held as part of the pre-season camp, which will begin in
mid January to mid February. As your high school season
begins, we
will not see you again until your H.S. season ends. We
will begin play
after H.S. play-offs end and run into early August. Plan
on games or
practice approximately 5 to 6 times weekly.
TCB has put together a game schedule that is impossible
to match.
The schedule combines 55+ games of top quality
competition, travel,
and numerous exposure and recruitment possibilities from
Division I,
II, and III Universities and Junior Colleges all over
the country.
Financial
Commitment
The cost of
each player is estimated between $2,500 to $2,900.
Actual costs will be final prior to team selections.
Players that are
selected have the opportunity to participate in fund
raising activities.
Education
Team
Connecticut Selects requires excellence on and off the
baseball field. Players are monitored through the
collection of report
cards as they strive to achieve at least a ‘B’ average
