TCB Baseball,
which includes the divisions Team Connecticut Baseball,
Team Connecticut Blue Jays, and Team Connecticut Blaze,
is New England's Select travel
program organized to offer the highest level of
instruction and development at the amateur level. The
club was established to provide skilled players the
opportunity to compete nationally against the country's
best while showcasing their skills.
The club organizes teams in the 11 to 18 year old
divisions which compete regionally and nationally in
various cities across the United States. In 1994, Team
Connecticut's 13 & under team won the gold medal in Des
Moines, Iowa. In 1997 Team Connecticut added another
National Championship to their trophy case with the 13 &
under team winning in Chickasha, Oklahoma. In 1999, two
more National Championships were brought home with the
16 & under team winning in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and
the 18 & under team winning in Cocoa, Florida. In 2002,
Team Connecticut won their most recent National
Championship with the 17 & under team winning in
Bourbonnais, Illinois.
Our goals not only include instruction and competition,
but development of friendships and memories that will
last a lifetime. The program also teaches the importance
of setting goals and striving to achieve and exceed
those goals. And most important, we offer an alternative
to alcohol, drugs and temptations that today's society
has to offer.
In order to successfully
produce such a competitive schedule, TCB must assure
good standings in multiple affiliations and memberships:
