Fred Bailey |

Fred earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training, and his Masters’ degree in Exercise Physiology, both from the University of Connecticut. He also earned his Associates of Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) from Naugatuck Valley Community College. Mr. Bailey is also certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and the American Board of Disability Analysts as a Disability Analyst.
Fred has been working at Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) since 1992, where he started at CorpCare Occupational Health Center. He currently holds the position of Director of Rehabilitation Services for ECHN. In this capacity, Fred oversees physical, occupational and speech therapies at Manchester and Rockville Hospitals, as well as Woodlake at Tolland. His responsibilities also include ECHN’s out patient therapy clinics at Evergreen Walk, the Glastonbury Wellness Center, and Court House Plus.
Fred has made numerous presentations to both industry and the general public concerning, physical fitness, back education, workplace ergonomics, personal training, and functional capacity evaluations. Fred has had articles published by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the International Journal of sports Nutrition, and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Fred is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and the American Board of Disability Analysts.
