Dr. Romero specializes in the treatment of shoulder and hand injuries, as well as knee repairs and sports medicine. In practice for more than 20 years, he has seen his specialty evolve along with his patients’ desire to remain active and live independently for as long as possible.
“Orthopedic problems can impact someone’s everyday life,” he says. “When a patient comes in with pain and limited motion, I will first look at the functional issues. For example, I’ll ask a violinist to bring in their violin and play it, or ask a tennis player to show me their serve. Orthopedic work can be very rewarding because it is possible to bring a person back to a fulfilling life.”
Dr. Romero reads history, is multilingual, and is an accomplished pilot. He enjoys running, swimming, skiing and travel with his wife and children.
