Kate is the Vice President of Operations at ECHN and is responsible for the overseeing the day-to-day operations, financial management, and short and long-term capital planning for Cardiology Services, Radiology Services, Sleep Lab, Diabetes Self Management, Cardiopulmonary Services, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, Biomed, Safety, Security, Food & Nutrition, Engineering and Environmental Services.

 

Kate received an Associate’s Degree as a Registered Nurse from Manatee Community College in Bradenton, Florida in 1981.  She then received her Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration from National Louis University in Sarasota, Florida in 1998.  She is currently attending the University of Hartford Barney School of Business Administration and will receive her Executive MBA, with a concentration in Finance in May of 2008.  She has held numerous management positions in Nursing and Medical Imaging at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Florida and at Eastern Connecticut Health Network, prior to her current position.  She is the proud parent of four children who have all been active in community and scholastic sports teams
