Goose was a 13th Round Draft Pick of the New York Mets in 1984 following his graduation at Berlin High School. He spent 12 seasons in professional baseball, spending parts of 6 seasons in the Major Leagues with the Mets, Indians, Twins, and Blue Jays.

 

In 1997, Gozzo started Goose's Major League Instruction in Rossville, Tennessee. Goose has instructed in all aspects of the game, with his most notable student being Matthew Cain, a right handed pitcher with the San Francisco Giants. In 2002, Goose expanded his operation to a 36,000 square foot training facility in Collierville, Tennessee.

 

Goose also ran a travel team in Tennessee, Goose's Gamers. The Gamers won the 9u Super Series National Championship in 2007 and finished 5th in the Elite 24 USSSA World Series.

 

Goose is the Director of Baseball Operations at the Connecticut Baseball Academy's Berlin Facility. He will be the TCB 12 & Under Director in 2008.
