6/28/07 - Team Connecticut Blue Jays Baseball is proud to announce the Inaugural Class for the Team Connecticut Blue Jays Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame was recently established in March of 2007.

A selection committee of former and current coaches and administrators was established to nominate former players, coaches, and administrators for the Hall of Fame. Once the nomination list was compiled, the committee voted on the inductions using the following criteria: player's, coach's, or administrator's record, playing ability, sportsmanship, integrity, character, and contributions to the team and/or program.

In 2007, players that were eligible for nomination completed their 18u eligibility in 1998, 1999, and 2000. Players that completed their 18u eligibility in 2001 and 2002 will be eligible for nomination in 2008 and so forth until the ages are caught up such that players become eligible for Hall of Fame nomination six years after completing their 18u eligibility.

Players that were not inducted in 2007 will remain eligible for induction for a period of 10 years.

The first TCB Hall of Fame induction will take place in August at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington at the TCB End of Year Banquet.
