7/11/05 - TCB 18 Nationals defeated the East Hartford Legion team to win the 2005 Fiori
Tournament.  Anthony Ferri was named Tournament MVP and John Stavola named Tournament
Outstanding Pitcher.

7/11/05 - TCB 13 South are the 2005 RYO 4th of July Tournament Champions.  The weekend
tournament took place from Friday through Monday on Long Island. The Blue Jays were a perfect
6-0 on the weekend, scoring a total of 63 runs and hitting .388 (66/170) as a team.

7/9/05 - TCB Alum Adam Greenberg has been called up from Double A to The Show.  He got his
first at-bat for the Chicago Cubs tonight and was hit by a pitch.  Greenberg was hitting .278 for AA
West Tenn and will sub in center field against right handers for the Cubs.

6/13/05 - TCB Alum Steve Bray has been promoted to the Kansas City Royals AAA Team, the
Omaha Royals. [

6/10/05 - Joe Ercolano (Fairfield, CT) was named to the Louisville Slugger Freshmen All-American
team. He becomes the 4th TCB Alumni to receive the honor. [

6/8/05 - Brian Cavanaugh (Monroe, CT) was drafted in the 21st round of the Major League
Baseball Draft by the San Diego Padres.  Cavanaugh played at East Carolina University and was
recently named to the Conference USA First Team.
Jeff Natale (Hamden, CT) was drafted in the 32nd round by the Boston Red Sox.  Natale attended
Trinity College.
Jovan Rosa (East Hartford, CT) was drafted in the 39th round by the Chicago White Sox. Rosa was
drafted out of East Hartford High School.
Scott Barnes (Chicopee, MA) was taken in the 43rd round by the Washington Nationals.  Barnes
has committed to play at St. John's University in the fall.

5/31/05 - TCB 13u South took 2nd place in the War at the Shore Memorial Day weekend
tournament in East Lyme, CT [

5/29/05 - TCB 13 Hartford is the New England Invitational Baseball Tournament Champions. TCB
won 3 straight game to take the title, including the 8-6 win in the title game. [

5/4/05 - Manhattan College senior Gary Diaz became the program's career hits leader, tallying his
207th career hit on a 2-run single in the second inning, as the Jaspers posted a 10-3 MAAC win
over LeMoyne this afternoon.  [

announced Wednesday.  Joe Ercolano (Lehigh University) and Tucker Frawley (College of the
Holy Cross) earned First Team selections and Adam Bucci (Lafayette College) was named to the
Second Team. [

3/29/05 - The TCB Diamond Club is accepting new memberships for 2005. Your membership will
help a player to gain exposure to colleges across the country. The Diamond Club has already
raised over $1000 this year.

3/19/05 - TCB Alumni College Update

3/9/05 - The 2005 TCB Comedy Night will take place May 27, 2005 at the Stillwood Inn in
Wallingford, CT.  It is MANDATORY for each TCB family and each TCB coach to purchase or sell 2
tickets as explained at the reception.

3/1/05 - The 2005 college baseball season has started and several former TCB players are off to
a fast start.

running a number of Perfect Game Showcases in 2005.

2/16/05 - As part of Team Connecticut Blue Jay’s continued efforts to gain top-level national
exposure for its players, TCB will send a team to three Perfect Game/World Wood Bat
Tournaments in the fall of 2005.
