Jason Rago and Tyler Tomer have been selected to participate in the
Perfect Game National Showcase prior to the AFLAC Classic.

August 4th through August 6th the baseball fans in the Baltimore,
Maryland area will have the opportunity to see most of the highest
ranked high school players in the nation.

The nationally televised AFLAC Classic has quickly become the #1 event
for high school players. Last year’s Classic produced 9 players who
were selected by Major League organizations in the first round of this
years MLB Draft. A few others were selected in the second round.
These players came from the 38 prospects who were selected to play
in the 2003 AFLAC Classic.

In an effort to improve the overall attraction for scouts and college
recruiters, Perfect Game USA will hold a showcase featuring another
30 to 40 of the top high school prospects in the country.  The AFLAC
player workouts and PG player workouts will be held in conjunction on
the 4th and 5th of August.  On the afternoon of the 5th the PG players
will play a nine inning game.  Perfect Game is responsible for selecting
each of the players for both the AFLAC Classic and the PG USA
showcase.  Needless to say, there will be a very large number of high
draft picks that will come out of these two events. 25 of the top 26
ranked players in America are on the AFLAC rosters. All 40 of the
AFLAC players are ranked in the top 88 in the country and 38 are ranked
in the top 58.

The Perfect Game rosters will include most of the other high ranked
players and some big surprises who will become top 100 or maybe
even top 20 players in the next rankings when they are released.  We
will be releasing the PG rosters early next week.

We have received feedback that indicates many MLB front office people
will be attending.  This includes MLB General Managers and Scouting
Directors.  The one thing we are sure of is that all will leave happy and
the players will get the highest level of exposure possible.
