TCB 13u Hartford plays the Connecticut Storm on Saturday in a 10:00am doubleheader at East
Catholic HS.  Sunday, they face the Connecticut Metros in a 10:00am doubleheader at East Catholic
HS.  Wednesday, June 30th, they travel to Hammer Field in Branford, CT for a 5:45pm game with
the Connecticut Storm.

TCB 13u New Haven faces the Connecticut Storm on Thursday at 5:45pm at Hammer Field.  Saturday,
they take on the Eastern Connecticut Crush in a 9:00am doubleheader at the
University of New
Haven.  

TCB 14u Hartford travels to St. Joseph's HS in Trumbull on Friday for a 6:00pm game with the
Connecticut Metros.  Sunday, they host the Connecticut Blaze in a 3:00pm doubleheader at
East
Catholic HS.

TCB 14u New Haven plays the Connecticut Dawgs on Thursday with information to be announced.  
Saturday, they face the Dawgs in a doubleheader at 9:00am with information to be announced.  
Sunday, they face the Connecticut Crush in a 11:00am doubleheader at
Wooster Academy.

TCB 16u Hartford has a 3:00pm doubleheader at the University of New Haven against the
Connecticut Wolves on Thursday.  Friday, they host the Connecticut Bombers in a 5:45pm game also
at
University of New Haven.  Sunday, they face the Long Island Cardinals in a doubleheader with
information to be announced.  Monday, they have a doubleheader with the Connecticut Titans at
3:00pm with information to be announced.

TCB 16u New Haven  continues play in the Connecticut AAU State Championships this Friday when
the face the Connecticut Rangers at Loomis Chafee in Windsor.  Saturday, they face the Connecticut
Metros with information to be announced.  Sunday, they travel to New Milford HS for a 10:00am
doubleheader with the Connecticut Rangers.  Monday, they face the Connecticut Crusaders in a
5:45pm game at St. Luke's HS.

TCB 18u Nationals  face the Connecticut Reds on Friday at 5:45pm at Farmington HS.  Saturday, they
travel to
St. Joseph's HS for the Inaugural Connecticut Cup.  They face the Connecticut Metros at
10:00am and the TCB 18 Americans at 1:00pm.  Sunday, they host the Brooklyn Bonnies in a 3:00pm
doubleheader at
University of New Haven.  Monday, they travel to Geer Field in Troy, NY for a
1:00pm doubleheader with the South Troy Dodgers.

TCB 18 Americans travel to Trinity Catholic High School on Thursday to face Stamford in Super East
action. Saturday, they play at
St. Joseph's HS in the Inaugural Connecticut Cup.  They face the TCB 18
Nationals at 1:00pm and the Connecticut Metros at 4:00pm.  Sunday, they return to Super East
League action with a doubleheader against he New York Clippers at 12:00noon at
Manchester
Community College.  Monday, they host the South Troy Dodgers in a 1:00pm doubleheader at
Manchester Community College.  Thursday, July 4th, the open their defense of the John Martin Fiori

Alumni News

Jamie D'Antona (Trumbull, CT/Wake Forest Univ) has capped off an incredible first half with the  
Lancaster Jethawks (Arizona Diamondbacks Class A Affiliate) by being named to the California
League All-Star Team. D'Antona will not be able to participate in the game, however, as he was
promptly promoted to the
El Paso Diablos (Arizona Diamondbacks Class AA Affiliate). Prior to his
move, D'Antona was hitting .315 (10th in the California League), and has hit 13 home runs (tied for
4th).  He has 86 hits (6th) and is tied for 11th in the California League with 18 doubles. He's 3rd in
the league with 57 RBI's, tied for 4th in the league with 145 total bases, and 12th in slugging
percentage at .531.

Adam Greenberg (Guilford, CT/Univ of North Carolina)  is batting .254 for the
Daytona Cubs
(Chicago Cubs Class A Affiliate).  Greenberg is tied for 2nd in the Florida State League with 7 triples,
and also has 9 doubles, 2 homeruns, and 18 RBI's.

Jeff Clark (Ledyard, CT/UConn-Avery Point) is 2-0 on  the year for the
Norwich Navigators (San
Francisco Giants Class AA Affiliate).  Clark has pitched in 4 games pitching 18 innings.  He has a 4.50
ERA, allowing 9 earned runs, while striking out 17 and walking only 4.

Steve Bray (Branford, CT/Univ of New Haven) has appeared in 14 games for the
Burlington Bees
(Kansas City Royals A Affiliate)  He is 1-2 with 2 saves while pitching in relief. He has pitched 37.2
innings with a 3.58 ERA.  Bray has allowed 15 earned runs while striking out 41.

Staff Bio

Mike McGuire- 18u Nationals Manager
Coach McGuire holds an undergraduate degree from the University of New Haven in political science
and a Masters in Education from the University of Phoenix. He is currently a doctoral candidate (in
education) at the University of Phoenix. He is a middle school principal in Stamford, Connecticut.

Mike pitched at the University of Miami and at the University of New Haven.

Mike has been a coach for the past 20 years, serving in many venues. He has coached State
championship teams, regional championship teams, and one national champion (1998 Bambino
Champions). For the past 2 years Mike has been the assistant head varsity coach at Farmington High
School. Prior to that he served in the same capacity at Career High school.

Mike has been with Team Connecticut for 3 years, serving as head coach of the 16-year-old
nationals in 2002, and last year as assistant coach for the 18 year old national team (finished 2nd in
the nation).

Mike resides in Farmington, Connecticut with his wife Lois and their 8 children.
