East Hartford CT. – December 11, 2016
On December 11, 2016 Team Connecticut Baseball held its annual TCB COLLEGE COMMIT DAY at the Veterans Memorial Clubhouse in East Hartford. "This is a special day for the players and their families," explains Dan Kennedy, director of the 15-18 year old TCB programs. "We like that we can recognize all of our players who have worked so hard and committed to attend college."
This year’s graduating TCB class has a total of 9 student athletes that have committed to the schools. General Manager Bob Hetu explains, "The great thing about today is that we celebrate and recognize every player who has decided to attend college. It shouldn't matter if you’re attending a Division I, II, or III College, being able to attend college is special."
The TCB way has always been to guide our players to be well rounded young men. "Baseball is a small part of our program," says Kennedy. "Being a quality person off the baseball field and in the class room is extremely important to the way we do things at TCB."
