TCB Alumni and Friends has joined forces with Manchester's Highland Park Elementary School to help two families this Holiday Season.

Our first annual event is Strikes for Kids Holiday Toy Drive!

TCB and The TCB Alumni and Friends held its first annual Strikes for Kids Toy Drive at Revolutions Bowling. The Toy Drive benefited 3 families that are in dire need of help and assistance to make the holiday season a bright spot for 14 young children.

Although the main purpose of the day was the Toy Drive, The TCB Alumni and Friends program sponsored a terrific holiday buffet breakfast for all and bowling for anyone who wanted to have some fun. “We asked everyone that attended to bring a toy for the kids, and the Alumni Program would take care of the rest.” Said Dan Kennedy, TCB Alumni and Friends Director.

Kennedy adds, “We could not have asked for a better response from our TCB Families and Friends. We received over 120+ toys as well as donations that we will allow us to supply each Family a full Holiday Dinner.”

The event saw 57 people bowling anywhere from 4 years old up to too old to mention. And there were 65 people who attended breakfast. What a fun event, everyone was having fun, whether it was casual bowling or friendly competitions, it was a fun day.

Kennedy hopes to grow the event next year to be able to help even more Kids and Families. “I hope to be able to rent the entire bowling alley at Revolutions. Next year I’d like to fill up all 16 Bowling Lanes, not just 10.”
